Expectations:"Asa Saves the World": High Expectations and Confidence Building: Grade 4 Word Problems

This clip happens after Ms. Robinson has taught the class the protocol for figuring out word problems. Asa is asked to go to the board and do one using the protocol she has taught them. He shows a great lack of confidence. She gives him cues and coaches him through to success. Notice how she sits down in Asa's sit to signal that Asa is really in charge and she doesn't let him give up.
