Rick Rogers has 34 years of experience in public education, including 27 years as a principal in both urban and suburban settings. He is currently Assistant Director of the new PK-12 Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association, having previously served as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Elementary School Principals’ Association. He brings additional experience as a facilitator for the National Institute of School Leadership and an adjunct instructor for the Lowell Public Schools Aspiring Administrator program and the Graduate School of Education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Rick holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College, an M.Ed. from Lesley University and a C.A.S. in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is passionate about the principalship with particular interest in promoting an inclusive school community, a progressive school vision, and a strong professional learning culture.
